yes the N is backwards, fix this

the N is back to front

The end is backwards. My photo was a lot clearer on the end, and what you've done is turned it like a mirror. It should be going from left to right, top to bottom for the middle part.

Revision 2 / completed

Compare this corrected thin N against the clearest source photo and decide whether the endpoint hinges should be more visible or more hidden.

Keep the thin black-metal object construction and soft rounded outer stems, but correct the N's reading direction so the central member moves left to right, top to bottom.

Changes

  • Flip the middle member so it starts at the upper-left hinge area and ends at the lower-right hinge area.
  • Keep the outer verticals slightly bowed and rounded, preserving the object-like metal depth rather than making three generic straight strokes.
  • Make visible rings or hinge circles optional for this N; use subtle implied joints at the diagonal endpoints instead of a dominant central circle.
  • Preserve the graphite metal gradient, highlight pass, and soft cast shadow from the current asset.

Path

  • Correct the central diagonal orientation first, then soften the joint treatment so the letter reads as a mechanically constrained N without overusing visible circles.

Revision 1 / completed

Produce a corrected thin N SVG pass with the diagonal and end detail un-mirrored against the clearest source photo.

Refine the N so it follows the source object's left-to-right, top-to-bottom construction while preserving the thin metal depth, hinge logic, and slightly awkward mechanical joins.

Changes

  • Make the middle diagonal read from upper left to lower right, not as a reversed or mirrored N.
  • Re-orient the terminal/end detail to match the clearer source photo instead of flipping it horizontally.
  • Keep the outer verticals slightly rounded where the implied rings are invisible, rather than forcing visible circles.
  • Treat the circle/ring rule as optional and contextual, but make the N orientation rule strict.
  • Preserve thin graphite/black metal surfaces, subtle highlights, hinge depth, and constrained join shadows.

Path

  • Redraw the thin N from the source orientation first, locking the diagonal from upper left to lower right before re-adding metallic depth and hinge shadows.
